SKRATCH GOLF Series 2025: Terms, Conditions, and Rules

1. General Overview

1.1. The SKRATCH GOLF Series 2025 ("the Series") is an individual golf league that uses a pairs format for competition. 1.2. Events run from February 1st, 2025, to November 30th, 2025, with monthly competitions and five designated major events. 1.3. The Series is organized and managed by SKRATCH GOLF. 1.4. Participants must adhere to all terms, conditions, and rules outlined in this document.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Series is open to players aged 14 and above.

2.2. Both members and non-members of SKRATCH GOLF can participate.

2.3. Members enjoy discounted entry fees.

3. Event Format

3.1. Pairs Format:

• Each event is played as pairs, with formats including Best Ball, Scramble, Alternate Shot, and Aggregate Score.
• Players can enter events multiple times with different partners.
• Only the individual player’s best result per event will count toward their points.

3.2. Monthly Events:

• Events run from the 1st to the last day of each month.
• Results are finalized at the end of the month.

3.3. Major Events:

• Played in Individual Stableford format.
• Five majors are held in alignment with professional tournaments.
• Major events offer double points.

3.4. Outdoor Events:

• Limited-field competitions using Best Ball format.
• Scheduled for June, July, August, and September.
• Outdoor events also offer double points.

4. Entry Fees

4.1. Indoor Events:

• Members: £5 per entry.
• Non-members: £10 per entry.

4.2. Major Events:

• Members: £5 per entry.
• Non-members: £15 per entry.

4.3. Outdoor Events:

• Members: £5 per entry.
• Non-members: £10 per entry.

5. Scoring and Points System

5.1. Standard Indoor Events:

• 1st Place: 50 points

5.2. Major Events (Individual Stableford):

5.4. Tiebreakers:

• In case of a tie in event standings, the following criteria apply:

1. Most 1st place finishes.
2. Best performance in major events.
3. Lowest combined score in the final major of the season.

6. Prizes

6.1. Monthly Event Prizes:

• Prizes are awarded for each event and are provided by SKRATCH GOLF’s premium partners.

6.2. Grand Prize:

• The overall season champion will win a weekend holiday and three months of premium membershipat SKRATCH GOLF.

7. Participation Rules

7.1. Players must register for each event via the SKRATCH GOLF booking system before participation.

7.2. Entry fees must be paid in full before playing.

7.3. Participants must adhere to all posted rules of play and facility guidelines.

8. Multiple Entries

8.1. Players may enter an event multiple times with different partners.

8.2. Only the highest finishing position for the individual player will count toward their league points.

9. Conduct and Sportsmanship

9.1. All players are expected to maintain proper conduct and sportsmanship during events. 9.2. Cheating, disruptive behavior, or violations of rules may result in disqualification and removal from the Series.

10. Results and Leaderboard

10.1. Event results and the overall leaderboard will be published on the SKRATCH GOLF website and updated monthly.

10.2. Decisions regarding scoring or disputes are final and made at the discretion of SKRATCH GOLF management.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

11.1. Entry fees are non-refundable unless an event is canceled by SKRATCH GOLF.

11.2. In the event of unforeseen circumstances affecting outdoor events, SKRATCH GOLF will communicate alternative arrangements.

12. Liability

12.1. SKRATCH GOLF is not responsible for any injuries, loss, or damage incurred during participation in the Series. 12.2. Players participate at their own risk and are encouraged to have appropriate insurance.

13. Amendments

13.1. SKRATCH GOLF reserves the right to amend these terms, conditions, and rules at any time. Any updates will be communicated to participants.
